Marilyn Gale: Calendar

There were a precious few in the room when technical difficulties were finally solved and I got to play! I threw my set list out the window and did what was in my heart, finishing up with Dream Song to send everybody home... Thanks to all who attended.

This was a blast. It was awesomely attended by beautiful people, some I knew (one who traveled hundreds of miles to be there - thanks Artie!) and some who were new...
I had fun doing four mini-sets starting with some opening songs on guitar, then a number of songs on dulcimer. After a break I was joined by my friend Andy Gonzales on percussion. I did an ac cappela piece and then some fast paced tunes. I ended with some sweet soft melodies, and closed with "Life".

A great supportive crowd with excellent energy compelled me through a fun set of original tunes. The mike kept drooping into my guitar for the first few tunes. Then I said we've got to change it out. I told a story about the next song I was going to sing during that activity and just kept it moving along. Thanks to all who came, especially Gerald and Harold who spent over an hour just getting there!
